This year at the ETHDam conference held in Amsterdam, Oasis showcased the motion graphics animation and website design and development produced during our partnership. Known for gathering the brightest minds in the fields of Ethereum, DeFi, Staking, and Governance/DAO, ETHDam provided the perfect backdrop for revealing our collaborative achievements.
Collaborative Efforts Lead to Innovative Results
In the months leading up to ETHDam, Psychoactive Studios worked closely with Oasis to deliver a key motion graphic animation critical for their brand unveiling at the conference. This animation was not just a display of visual aesthetics but a narrative that encapsulated the ethos and the technological promise of Oasis Network.
Intensive Design and Development Phase
The project was intensive, involving the redesign and development of crucial web pages including 'Start Building,' 'Solutions,' and more specialized pages such as 'Sapphire' and 'Oasis Privacy Layer (OPL).' Our task was to bring the wireframes, provided by Oasis, to life—ensuring that each page was not only visually compelling but also optimized for user interaction and experience.
The challenge was significant, given the complexities of integrating detailed technical content with engaging design elements. However, the synergy between Psychoactive’s creative designers and Oasis’s technical experts resulted in a seamless design process that adhered strictly to web design best practices.
Homepage Restructuring for Optimal Presentation
One of the key tasks was the restructuring of the homepage. Originally designed by Oasis's in-house team, the page required a keen eye to correct and enhance its web design elements. Our focus was on rectifying issues with spacing, sizing, margins, and padding to ensure the homepage was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functionally robust.
Consultative Role Enhances Design Consistency
Beyond direct design and development, Psychoactive provided ongoing consultancy to ensure that all pages designed by Oasis upheld the high standards set forth in the initial phases. This consultative role was crucial in maintaining design consistency and coherence across the website, particularly as it involved complex elements such as interactive diagrams and custom illustrations that required specific contextual understanding from Oasis.

With a deadline set just before ETHDam, the pressure was on to deliver all components flawlessly.
